                 Owner’s Statement:

 

             The Comfort of Touch, a sole proprietorship, is targeted to provide Therapeutic Massage services to the public, and non-profit organizations. Specializing in Geriatric Massage. The Comfort of Touch is based in Westport, MA and Warwick, RI. I, owner Karen M. Burns, RN, will be available to service clients in my establishment, by appointment.

 

Credentials:

· National Certification from the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork.

· Expertise in Swedish massage, Geriatric Massage, Chakra Energy alignment, Hot Stone Therapy, Reflexology, Seated Massage

· Reiki II certified

· Graduate of The Salter School, Massage Therapy 900 hour certificate program

· Certified in Ear-coning

· Independent Bookkeeper

· Registered Nurse with a unique balance of physiological and energetic well-being

· Professional, reliable, energy centered Massage Therapist

· Caring and ethical, with a focus on the over 50 population

· Certification in Reflexology

· Certification in Prenatal massage

· Experienced working with Cancer clients

· Certified in Thai massage

· Pending certification in The Trager Approach
